Field Precision LLC Title

Thermal analysis Software products for static and dynamic thermal transport

Orientation
This page lists software products to calculate heating of solids and tissues. Toolkits are based on programs from our TriComp series. The programs handle systems with cylindrical or planar symmetry. Advanced design suites include 3D programs from the AMaze series. Programs of the Thermal Transport Toolkit and Advanced Thermal Design Suite calculate static or dynamic heating with user-specified thermal sources. The RF Heating Toolkitand Advanced RF Heating Design Suite include additional programs to determine RF electric field distributions and resistive power profiles. The Induction Heating Toolkit includes the capability to calculate RF magnetic fields in conductive materials with eddy currents. Basic packages run under 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows. Professional packages support unlimited memory access and parallel processing on 64-bit multicore machines. Click on the component program names to view technical specifications and to download instruction manuals.

Advanced Thermal Design Suite
Description: Advanced 2D/3D finite-element programs for steady-state or dynamic thermal simulations. The codes handles radiative boundaries, blood perfusion and materials with temperature-dependent thermal properties. Initial-value solutions may include arbitrary time variations of thermal sources and surface temperatures. In this mode, the programs can record snapshots of spatial variations or probe signals at diagnostic points.
Component information: Mesh, TDiff, Geometer, MetaMesh, HeatWave. Basic package part number: ADS0500
Professional package part number: ADS0550
RF Heating Toolkit
Description: Unitized package to calculate RF electric field distributions and resultant heating in materials. Applications include material processing, biomedical procedures and hyperthermia research. RFE2 determines RF electric fields generated by electrodes in conductive dielectric materials while TDiff calculates the resulting heating effects. Advanced features include thermal radiation boundaries and perfusion contributions.
Component information: Mesh, RFE2, TDiff.
Part number: TK0800
Advanced RF Heating Design Suite
Description: Full 2D/3D calculations of RF electric field distribution and resultant heating in tissues. Define up to 127 different materials characterized by dielectric constant, electrical conductivity, specific heat, thermal conductivity, mass density, emissivity and perfusion coefficient.
Component information: Mesh, RFE2, TDiff, Geometer , MetaMesh, RFE3, HeatWave, Basic package part number: ADS0800
Professional package part number: ADS0850
Induction Heating Toolkit
Description: Coupled magnetodynamic/thermal calculations. Nelson finds self-consistent AC/RF magnetic fields with eddy current effects and records power density as a function of position. TDiff uses the information for steady-state or time-dependent thermal calculations.
Components: Mesh, Nelson, TDiff.
Part number: TK0900
